Once again this year, the members of the European Real Estate Network (EREN) gathered for an inspiring and intensive exchange – this time against the impressive backdrop of Lake Geneva. Eva and Peter Marschall were present to discuss the current and future developments of the European real estate market with their partners.

This year’s meeting took place in the stylish ambiance of the historic Golf & Country Club de Bonmont and marked EREN’s 20th anniversary, as well as the 200th company anniversary of our partner and host, “Comptoir Immobilier Group”!

The event commenced with a delightful welcome dinner at the Golf & Country Club’s restaurant.

Tuesday morning featured an intensive seminar where current developments, challenges, and opportunities in the various member countries were discussed. Our President proudly highlighted that our members collectively possess over 665 years of experience in the real estate business and have successfully managed their respective ventures for many decades (and some even for centuries).

A highlight of the social program was the exclusive visit to the renowned De Bethune watch manufactory, which offered fascinating insights into Swiss watchmaking artistry and innovative spirit. A subsequent dinner at the well-known restaurant “Baron Tavernier – The Deck,” with views over Lake Geneva and the Lavaux vineyards, provided an unforgettable conclusion to the day.

On Wednesday, an exclusive real estate tour took place to two impressive properties in the region: the historic estate “Château de Trévelin” in the Canton of Vaud, with views over Lake Geneva, nestled amidst expansive vineyards, as well as an impressive penthouse with over 400 m² of living space on Quai Wilson in the center of Geneva. The penthouse features an 80 m² rooftop terrace and is available for rent at a daily rate of CHF 12,000. During a finger-food lunch on the penthouse’s rooftop terrace, overlooking the Jet d’Eau, discussions revolved not only around real estate but also visions and trends. The day concluded with an elegant dinner at the Hôtel d’Angleterre, followed by a delightful farewell gathering in the legendary Leopard Room Bar.

The entire meeting was accompanied by Tracey Atkins from Golden Eye Media – one of the world’s most renowned experts in real estate film and brand staging. Tracey and her team will produce a video portrait for EREN and filmed several of our members during interview sessions for this purpose. With her impressive experience – including the media staging of the legendary Onassis Estate, once the residence of Jackie Kennedy – she sets international standards in real estate marketing. The collaboration was not only inspiring but also a valuable impetus for the further development of our own brand presentation in the digital space.

The meeting concluded on Thursday with an exclusive tour of the United Nations in Geneva – another extraordinary program item that impressively highlighted the global context of our daily work.

Our sincere thanks to the hosts for the perfect organization and their genuine hospitality. We are already looking forward to the next EREN Meeting in 2026 in Rome!
